Letter from the Founder
Dear Friends,
It is very gratifying for me to see Elmwood Adult Day Health Care Centers become a reality. Although I am of Russian descent, I feel very connected to this community. Having provided physical therapy service here for several years, I have experienced first-hand how caring and appreciative the people are.
I know how physical therapy can improve one’s health but there is more to it than that. I have always strived to bring conscious awareness to my patient’s exercises because I understand the significance of the mind-body connection in achieving lasting health. With the second Center at 20 Miner St in Providence, I am particularly excited about offering the services of a Physical Therapist to design a personalized, exercise program for individual participants. This unique, exercise program is only one of several of our activities that are specifically designed to improve the physical and emotional well-being of our participants.
In addition to the activities and services offered at the Centers, it is the caring kindness of the staff that makes a difference in the lives of our participants. Each day, our talented staff work together so that participants may benefit. Through their collective efforts, participants are experiencing the joys of renewed vitality.
Finally, when visiting the Centers, it is heartwarming to hear the cheerful music and see the smiling faces. Knowing our many participants are now happier and healthier because of their attendance at Elmwood Adult Day Health Care Centers is truly gratifying.
Yes, when it comes to Elmwood Adult Day Care Centers, there is much to be thankful for.
